Mechanical Engineer Internship

Hey! Are you looking for an internship in the area of mechanical engineering around Aachen? Do you want to experience what it is like to work in a highly motivated dynamic team? Are you highly motivated and can work independently? Then we are the perfect fit for you.

We offer you the opportunity to get experience in the areas of Development, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, Assembly as well as a variety of practical experiences. You can cover the following areas with us: thermal joining and cutting processes; master moulding; tool and fixture construction; maintenance, assembly; development, design, work preparation; study/specialisation-specific project internship after consultation with the internship office.

Responsibilities

  • Support our engineering team in different areas of the development process.
  • Assembly and quality control of our prototypes. 
  • Support in pilot projects. 
  • Implementation of your own sub-projects. 

 

Skills:

  • Technical training or studies in the field of mechanical engineering or similar.
  • First experiences in construction software.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Independent or collaborative working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative and solution-oriented way of working.
  • Quick perception and high willingness to learn.

Part-Time Full Stack Development

Hi there! We’re looking for a part-time Full Stack Developer who’s passionate about building seamless, user-friendly web applications from front to back. If you enjoy tackling both the UI and backend challenges, and love bringing ideas to life with clean, efficient code, we’d love to have you on our team! Join us to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and create awesome solutions together.

Gain hands-on experience in the areas of front-end and back-end development, software architecture, and front-end development, along with exposure to various practical challenges. You can cover a wide range of topics with us, in a dynamic environment. Additionally, we support project work and specialization-specific internships, tailored to your skills and interests, after consultation with your academic advisor.

Qualifications

  • Development experience in Linux environments.
  • Practical knowledge of Ruby & NodeJS programming.
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases. 
  • Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure – including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.
  • Familiarity with Git version control & issue tracking. 
 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Development of new features in an existing web app for smart agriculture.
  • Improving existing web app features according to business needs and user feedback.
  • Testing existing implementation for bugs and errors.
  • Deploying new versions of the web app to the AWS production environment.
  • Improving, optimizing, and maintaining the company’s AWS infrastructure with respect to performance, cost, and security.
